On 18 February 2019, the Transport Knowledge Hub hosted its final event of the series on Sustainable Transport and Housing in the South East. The event took place at City Hall in London.

Chaired by Gerard Whelan of Corporate Finance, Government and Infrastructure at KMPG, the event included the launch of the final report, written by KPMG for the Transport Knowledge Hub on ‘Integrating the Planning and Delivery of Sustainable Transport with New Housing Development’. The forum included a keynote speech by Sir Peter Hendy, Chair of Network Rail. Panellists included Martin Dean (Managing Director of Bus Development, Go-Ahead); Hilary Chipping (Chief Executive, South East Midlands LEP); Naomi Green (Head of Technical Programmes, England’s Economic Heartland); Rupert Clubb (Director of Communities Economy and Transport ESCC, Chief Officer Transport for the South East); Tom Copley AM (Deputy Chair of Housing Committee, GLA) and Benjamin Clayton (Head of Strategy and Performance, Homes England).
